Indefinable ideas of the mind are protected by the Intellectual property rights which grants legal defense and is classified in to the following [banner_entry_middle]

category such as patents , copyrights and trade marks . The Intellectual property rights define intangible ideas of the mind that receive statutory protection such as patents , trademarks and copy rights

IP permits to own innovation and creativity just like as one own physical property . The author or creator can control and be compensated for its use and this promotes further creativity and innovation to the benefit of all

In some instances , IP extends protection to ideas but in other cases there will be more amplification of an idea before safeguard can arise In most of the cases , IP rights can not be gained and protected unless one applies for the same and being granted on such application . In certain IP ‘s as in the case of copyright ,the right is granted automatically even without registration when there is some tangible evidence or records in some form of what has been created . If one want to have his ideas to be under one ‘s control , one has to necessarily protect the same

A trade mark may be of a sign , symbol , slogan , logo , design , color sound or scent that serves to recognize the supply and supply of goods and services . It is a powerful mechanism facilitating a consumer to choose goods and services that have given memorable experiences and discard those that have not been of pleasing . Any sign which helps to distinguish services and goods from one trade to that of another is known as Trade Mark

VAT -69 is recognised liquor in the international market and is protected by trademark such as the unique bottle shape , the name , script and color of the bottle . Consumers recognize the mark on the bottle and unique shape of the bottle and come to a conclusion that it comes from the original manufacturer . If some one copies the shape of the VAT-69 bottle and tries to sell in the name of RAT-69 , then it would comprise an infringement of the VAT-69 trademark because of the noticeable and phonetic resemblance of the relevant trademark . Thus Intellectual property law shields consumers from the likelihood of confusion that might cause them to believe RAT-69 or VAT-69 is one way or another connected with or permitted by the VAT-69 company . IP laws safeguards consumers from the likelihood of puzzlement that might cause them to believe RAT 69 or VAT 69 is some how associated or had the authorization by the VAT 69 company
